  Geiger's Mattias Rickardsson is learning how to play the saw! As do others, in the alternative acoustics and contact microphones workshop Johannes Bergmark had August 11th, 2010 as part of the Mubil tour.

  Luc Kerléo, Johannes Bergmark and Tippi Tillvind have a collective workshop in Svenljunga at Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan Sjuhärad, in collaboration with Kalvfestivalen, on August 13th, 2010, as part of the Mubil tour. The participants had many options but were mainly interested in building oscillators and contact microphones. Artist Gunilla Boije af Gennäs tries out amplifying the sounds of drawing.

  After the workshops with Johannes Bergmark and with Luc Kerléo on August 15th, 2010, as part of the Mubil tour. Our collaborator Ars Nova's Stefan Östersjö is trying out his broken charango with contact microphones and digital electronic treatment for his performance of the Blue Charango the following evening at Teatr Weimar. I show the camera some small unusual instruments I brought as inspirations in my workshop: the Bengal Gopychand and Khamak, a brass jew's harp from laos (although I say cambodja) and a bamboo one, possibly from the phillippines, the unique Spoon Fiddle and my own Brillolin.

  Luc Kerléo and Johannes Bergmark have one workshop each in Ystad at Ystads Konstmuseum, on August 19th, 2010, as part of the Mubil tour. The participants were very interested in building oscillators and contact microphones. Our collaborator Madelene Oldeman tries out amplifying her invention, the Giant Pen.

  Luc Kerléo and Johannes Bergmark have one workshop each at Helsjöns Folkhögskola, in the Fenix international youth project organized by Leader Sjuhärad., on August 21st, 2010, as part of the Mubil tour. The young participants came from estonia, finland and sweden, and built oscillator systems and simple instruments based on contact microphones. They then applied them into and performed through our electro-acoustic van, the Mubil. We also introduced new ways of thinking about sound, space and acoustics to them, in order to inspire their creativity.
